Anupam Saraph

In January 2008, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and [[SEAP|Software Exporter’s Association of Pune (SEAP)] announced the appointment of Dr. Anupam Saraph as the "CIO of Pune". Dr. Saraph’s appointment has been made with the objective of adding weight to the e-governance project implementation underway in Pune and to enhance Pune’s plans to transform into one of the most technologically advanced cities of the future.
Dr. Saraph has a Ph.D. in Informatics from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen University in Netherlands, and is a co-founder of a think-tank and a management consultancy.

- Civic body goes 'wiki' - slightly misleading article, since it confuses Wikipedia the website with Mediawiki the wiki software that is used to run the Wikipedia (and also the punetech wiki). I don't believe that PMC has any plans of updating Wikipedia pages - it is only using Mediawiki internally. But otherwise, an informative article.
