SocialMedian is a yet-to-launch social news site created by Jason Goldberg.

SocialMedian is in an invite-only alpha at this stage, and is a personalized news service based on social recommendations. It aggregates information around various News Groups that cover any topic under the sun. When you first start out, you can easily search for News Groups to join up with, or create one of your own. To make things easier, as with all good social bookmarking tools, SocialMedian has a browser plugin for easy clipping as you surf the web.

SocialMedian is based in New York, and has a development team in Pune (in partnership with True Sparrow Systems.)
