Tarun leads the product design & marketing team of Mithi. He has a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune. Tarun started his career in 1989 as a research associate at CDAC (a govt.-backed research institute that specializes in research in advance computing). Tarun left CDAC in 1991 to found a start-up called Men-at-Work that successfully created one of the most successful software products in India for multilingual word processing and document design (LEAP).

Tarun has over 15 years of experience in designing software products. He has led the team in raising two rounds of venture finance for the company. He was also instrumental in developing the technology partnerships with Intel, Redhat, Sun, Novell & CDAC. Tarun has written several articles in business and IT magazines and main line dailies. He also speaks at various industry forums and at engineering and management institutes.
