[edit] Background Information

ThinkingSpace Technologies was started by three former classmates from the University of Pune in April 2007. The founders believe that software should be so easy to use - that people with none or minimum exposure to computers should be able to use them with utmost ease.

They believe in extremely simple, no-nonsense, bloat free software and this approach is reflected in all of their products.

Two of the founders have represented India at the Microsoft Imagine Cup - Software Development Invitational at Yokohama, Japan in 2005

[edit] Products

ThinkingSpace Technologies has to date, two products to its credit - both in the event management sphere.

ActiveCiti
ActiveCiti was the first product by ThinkingSpace and was written to help people in organising their personal, private events like dinners, parties, picnics, movie outings, etc.

Apart from the normal features (like invitations, RSVPs, custom pages, etc.) seen in similar websites, it allowed for event owners to add organisers to the event to help them with the organisation of the events.

EventAZoo
EventAZoo allows college event and contest organisers to get their event websites running in no time. It creates comprehensive event websites in minutes along with participant registrations and powerful custom reports - without the organiser having to even write one line of code.

The product is in private beta right now and scheduled to go into public beta by the end of July 08.

[edit] Product Engineering Services

Apart from products, ThinkingSpace has been responsible for developing two full fledged web applications from scratch for clients in India and the United Kingdom.

I'm in TV
The I'm in TV website was commissioned by two TV professionals from the United Kingdom who wanted to create a niche social network around the TV community. The web application is extremely feature rich and meets all the needs of TV professionals around the world.

The website allows people to find jobs, maintain a personal (shareable) calendar, create contacts list, have discussions in forums, recommend people and also have their own media gallery (including pictures, audio and videos)

The site uses email and text messaging services extensively to keep its subscribing members updated with changes and news.

ThinkingSpace was responsible for the entire development of the website - from the ideating phase to the mock-ups, designing the UI, architecture design, coding and finally deployment and maintenance of the website.

RSVPIndia
RSVPIndia.com was a website developed for an Indian client who wanted to create an invitation and RSVP website catered to the Indian market.he The website was supposed to be extremely clean and simple to use - with the target audience being a non tech savvy user.

In the background, the website uses the powerful and versatile ActiveCiti engine to drive its business logic requirements.

ThinkingSpace was responsible for implementing this project from the start to the finish -- from designing the UI to the final deployment and maintenance of the website.
